I have been reading a few entries on your blog and it reminded me of something I've always wondered about the Malaysian language --- why is it often written with the number '2' at the end of words? Does this reduplicate the sound, or change the meaning of the word? I have checked a lot of websites and can't see any mention of this in any article about Malaysian so I thought, who better to ask than a Malaysian English teacher?<br /><br />And just to stay on topic, I can't believe people would boo their national team if they are playing a famous foreign team!
