Pray for Kuantan & help them.

We all know the flood situation in the east coast especially in Kuantan is really bad now. Some have got some helps but most are still waiting for some assistance as they are so desperate with the situation. My own brother who lives in Gambang (quite near to Kuantan) said that they are still a lot of people who needs food, water, clean clothes, blankets, diapers and toiletries. He and some of his colleagues from UMP (Universiti Malaysia Pahang) have delivered some food to some affected areas by focusing at the place where the authorities are not aware of their evacuation centre. There are some so called "illegal evacuation centre" because most evacuation centres are too crowded. My family members and I have made some small contributions by donating some amount of money to my brother so that he can go out and buy some supplies for the other flood victims. At least our small contributions can ease their burden during this tough time.

Searching for sponsorships.

Right now, the teachers and I are busy searching for some sponsorships for our Graduation cum Concert 2013. The Graduation will be held on 27th October. We've managed to get some companies which have agreed to sponsor some drinks, food and decorations. The companies are Malaysian Milk Bhd, Tutti Frutti and Contra Enterprise. 2 of my friends were also so generous when they've agreed to help. One of them has transfered some money so that I can buy some food for our students. Another one has agreed to bake some cookies and brownies. Baking is her passion and also part time job, so she's so glad to donate some.

We'll keep trying our luck to get some more sponsorships as the date is drawing closer. If any of you is generous enough, you are most welcomed to pitch in too. Just PM me at aspiringkidskindy@gmail.com

Feed A Family This Ramadan Campaign

I reckon it's not too late to wish all muslims Happy Ramadan. Alhamdulillah we are still given the chance to fast and do all the good deeds especially in Ramadan. I myself are trying everyday to ensure that I'll recite some pages in Quran, control my anger (sometimes it's a bit tricky), of course perform the Terawih prayers every night and many more. There's another type of good deed that we are encouraged to do in Ramadan, it's donating money or other things to those in needs.

Rintihan seorang ibu: Jom kita bantu. (BM entry)

Memang selalu juga ternampak kisah2 sedih dan menyayat hati bila tengok anak-anak kecil sakit terutamanya yang masih bayi. Kali ni, saya nak kongsi tentang rintihan seorang ibu ni. Dia mintak kita sama2 doakan anaknya yang sakit. Jom kita sama-sama doakan supaya anaknya cepat sembuh.

Saya Rohaiza Bte Ishak. Saya merupakan guru Kemahiran Hidup di MRSM Muar. Tujuan saya menulis email ini ialah untuk memohon belas kasihan dari pembaca kerana anak kedua saya yang bernama NurHannah Bte Mohamed Helmi berusia 3 bulan tidak sihat.

Ketika bersalin, anak saya lemas kerana tali pusat keluar lebih kurang 40 minit sebelum saya bersalin. Ini menyebabkan anak saya lemas kerana tidak mendapat oksigen kerana tali pusat sudah terkeluar.

Apabila doctor scan (MRI) otak anak saya, doctor menyatakan bahawa anak saya terencat akal kerana sel-sel otak telah mati kerana kekurangan oksigen.

Hanya Allah yang tahu apa yang saya rasa ketika itu.

Kaki bagaikan tidak jejak ke bumi. Muka saya pucat bagaikan tiada darah lagi. Hampir 3 minggu saya mengambil masa untuk terima hakikat apa yang doctor terangkan mengenai anak saya. Hari-hari saya menangis. Saya rasakan hati saya kosong.

Selepas 3 minggu saya cuba berkongsi masalah dengan teman sekerja. Semangat saya mula datang apabila ada rakan yang mengalami situasi yang sama seperti saya iaitu anak mereka lemas ketika bersalin. Doktor juga menyatakan anak mereka terencat akal. Tetapi kuasa Allah mengatasi segalanya dan anak mereka alhamdulillah sihat. Tetapi saya akui bahawa saya hanya insan yang lemah.

Kadang-kadang saya kuat, kadang-kadang saya lemah sangat.

Rakan menasihati saya agar perbanyakkan solat hajat, baca yassin dan bersedekah. Alhamdulillah. Saya melakukan semua nasihat yang mereka berikan.

Perkembangan terbaru tentang anak saya ialah dia masih lagi belum boleh menghisap dan menelan. Minum susu menggunakan tiub yang dimasukkan terus ke perut. Suction machine pula digunakan untuk menyedut air liur kerana anak masih tidak boleh menelan.

2 minggu lepas anak dimasukkan ke hospital kerana jangkitan kuman pada paru2. Ketika itu keadaan anak terlalu lemah menyebabkan doctor sukar mencari urat anak. Pilihan kedua ialah masukkan line hingga ke tulang.

Sekali lagi anak saya diduga iaitu selepas 3 hari kaki anak bengkak. Apabila doctor buat x-ray, rupanya kaki anak saya patah kerana dicucuk ketika memasukkan line. Pergerakan anak saya tidak seaktif bayi kerana kesan kurangnya oksigen di otak ..tambahan pula kaki kanan anak bersimen.

Hanya Allah tempat saya mengadu. Jika boleh, biarlah saya yang menanggung semua kesakitan itu, bukan anak saya yang berumur 3 bulan. Minum guna tiub, tak tahu menelan.kaki pula bersimen.

Kalian bayangkanlah bagaimana perasaan seorang ibu yang menjaga janin dalam kandungan bagaikan menatang minyak yang penuh. Tetapi selepas lahir, begitu besar ujian untuk anak saya. Terus terang saya katakan bahawa ini adalah ujian yang maha-maha besar dalam hidup saya. Saya bersyukur kerana Allah menguji saya kerana Dia sayangkan saya dan anak.

Dikesempatan ini saya memohon, merayu dan menagih simpati agar kalian dapat meluangkan masa untuk melakukan sembahyang hajat agar kesihatan anak saya pulih dan jauhkanlah anak saya dari sebarang kecacatan.

Andainya terlalu berat permintaan saya, bacakanlah Al-Fatihah. Jika permintaan ini juga berat, cukuplah kalian mengucapkan INSYAALLAH agar anak saya sihat, dijauhkan dari kecacatan dan dipulihkan kerosakan pada otaknya.

Mudah-mudahan dengan keikhlasan kalian, doa kalian dimakbulkan. Hanya Allah yang mampu membalas budi kalian.

Solat Hajat

1) Niat Ushalli sunnatal hajati rak'ataini lillaahi ta'aala.

2) Tiap-tiap 2 rakaat sesudah membaca al-fatihah, baca Ayat kursi 1x, dan Kul huallah huahad sebanyak 1x.

3) Sehabis salam yang terakhir, sujud semula. teruslah meminta hajat kepada Allah dengan khusyuk.Insyaallah Allah makbulkan.

ACID SPLASHER IS BACK!!!!

After a while of silence, this mad man is back again. It is likely he was in prison and is now out. The police should check on those who served short terms in prison and have just been released.

Attention: Last night at 8.15pm the acid splasher was around PKNS complex shah alam. 1 lady got splashed. At 9.30pm another lady got splashed around Summit USJ area. Splasher on the run riding EX5 motorcycle
No Plate WPV 4963. Pls pass this on. TQ!!!
A friend reports that the Acid Splasher has been seen in Damansara Uptown & Kota Damansara.

Modus Operandi is to knock on the car window (mostly women drivers) & splash acid if poor driver winds down window.

He has a 'sad face' & is Indian. When you refuse to open the window, he will yell at you & be more aggressive.

He carries a yellow bottle (likely to be acid behind his back).
Don't be BLUR & open.

One of the victim is my friend's friend's friend currently hospitalized & blinded (not to mention disfigured).

Do not open the car window,
immediately take note of the clothes
he is wearing & rush home / or make police report.

More information about Periwinkle Playgroup.

In the last entry, I forgot to include some information about Periwinkle Playgroup. So, I'm going to explain further regarding the playgroup.

Tentatively we plan to run a trial class soon not just after CNY break but on 26th Jan. 2013. This class is an introductory class for our playgroup. Here are the details:

First class: 26th Jan. 2013

Age: 1 to 3 years old.

Venue: Tadika Anak Aspirasi

For parents who want to bring more than one child and the youngest child is not even 1 year old, they only need to pay for the elder child. For parents who think that their 4-6 year old need additional activity during the weekend, they can also join in our playgroup.

Our approach is more on learning through play. They learn and pick up the language subconsciously through
the activities. The medium of instruction is in English. But once in a while, we will use BM too especially when many children understand more in BM.

Introducing.........................Periwinkle Playgroup.

This is a good opportunity to you to bring your babies or toddlers to play and socialize with others while learning something. It also helps you to have some quality bonding time with your babies/toddlers. A-one-and-half hour session for 2 x per month on Saturday is just perfect for parents who are normally so busy working whole day long.

Our playgroup's is called "Periwinkle Playgroup". Each session will have a specific theme with 3 major activities. The major activities are story time, singing and dancing and art & craft. Parents must join in the activities as they are designed for parents and babies/toddlers to have fun together.

The first trial class will be started soon in February after CNY break. The fee for each class is RM35. For those who can promote or recommend this playgroup to family members or friends will be given some discounts.

Introducing....................Aspiring Kids Kindergarten.

I've shared in some entries before that I'm busy with a new project. The new project is actually a project of opening a new kindergarten. It's been one of my dreams to open a place where I can educate children and at the same time let them learn through play.

At the moment, we've started to take in registration of kids from 4 years old to 6 years old. Our goal is to get kids from various cultural and backgrounds. We've equipped the kindergarten with appropriate furniture and educational tools.Our teachers are all experienced teachers who have at least 10 years experience dealing with kindergarten kids.

Another baby in the family!

I received a good news this morning. There's another baby in our family. Whose baby is it? Nope, definitely not mine because I just delivered Husna 4 months ago. It's my second nephew. My younger sister, Yatie delivered her second baby this morning at 10 something in one of the private hospital in Kota Bharu. The labour process was quite quick considering that she had the contractions at 3 a.m. and by 8 a.m. she went to the hospital. So, this is the photo of the new baby:

I've been meaning to change the header of this blog since I've delivered Husna in June. Only during first day of Eid, our small family managed to take a family photo. That's why, I've created the simplest header to show the latest addition of our family. I know that it's not so grand because I just used photoscape to make that header. Well, this header will just be fine for now.

I came across this interesting news from my FB account. It's a good news for all nursing mothers. The shawl will come in handy especially when we (nursing mothers) are on the go. You want to breastfeed your baby but at the same time, you need to cover your "aurah". So, the best solution is of course using something to cover the parts you need to cover.

Celik Momz: Bengkel yang menarik. (BM entry)

Saya ternampak bengkel yang menarik ni di FB. Malangnya saya tengah dalam berpantang. Jadi tak dapatla nak menghadiri bengkel yang menarik ni. Water cut: We already have had an early preparation!

Last week the was a news about the water cut around KL and many places in Selangor. We thought that it will start from tomorrow. So, today we have started to clean all the buckets and other containers that can be used to keep water. Then we filled them up with water.

But later, my hubby wanted to recheck when exactly is the water cut. When we checked again from the news, it will only start from the day after tomorrow. Well, to be exact from 14th to 15th March. The areas include KL and most places in Selangor too. We even took out the kids' plastic swimming pool and fill it up with water. We warned our kids that they can't go in the pool to play.

I guess it's okay to have an early preparation since there are so many people living in this house now. Plus having kids also mean we better have extra water. For others who are also living in KL and Selangor, you have to start saving and keeping some water for 2 days of water cut. I heard a rumor saying that it might even be for 3 days!
