No WhatsApp?
My own siblings and also my husband's siblings have been pestering us about installing WhatsApp on our mobile phone. But until now, we haven't done it?
So, are we considered outdated for not using the current fad? Most of them said that it's easier to use WhatsApp because it's free and you can send and share a lot of things within your group easily as it's all FREE! Compared to sending text messages that you have to pay for each message, Whatsapp is considered a better option.
Actually my hubby is the one who has forbidden me from installing WhatsApp. He doesn't like it because when we install WhatsApp, it's easy for others to know our current location. Thus, it makes us so vulnerable and put us in danger. May be many hasn't really realize this fact. That's why until I get the 'green light' from my hubby, I guess I won't be able to install the application to my mobile phone.

Searching for sponsorships.
Right now, the teachers and I are busy searching for some sponsorships for our Graduation cum Concert 2013. The Graduation will be held on 27th October. We've managed to get some companies which have agreed to sponsor some drinks, food and decorations. The companies are Malaysian Milk Bhd, Tutti Frutti and Contra Enterprise. 2 of my friends were also so generous when they've agreed to help. One of them has transfered some money so that I can buy some food for our students. Another one has agreed to bake some cookies and brownies. Baking is her passion and also part time job, so she's so glad to donate some.
We'll keep trying our luck to get some more sponsorships as the date is drawing closer. If any of you is generous enough, you are most welcomed to pitch in too. Just PM me at aspiringkidskindy@gmail.com

A short picnic in Gold Coast Beach in Sepang.
Yesterday we went to Gold Coast Beach in Sepang (Pantai Bagan Lalang ler). It was not our first time there. We went there few months ago but we didn't bring any food and we had lunch in Morib before we checked out Gold Coast Beach.
We arrived by 10.30 a.m. and saw there were already quite a number of other families brought their family members and their own food too. Most of them even brought their own tents. We only brought a small mat with some food and water. Fathini and Hafizah brought their tools to make the sandcastle. Husna was just happy to tag along and play in the sand. We had to walk about 2 km before we could play in the water. There was a low tide at the beach and that's why everybody had to walk so far to play in the water.

Husna and I were left alone to take care of our things while my hubby and my other daughters had fun in the water. Husna entertained herself by walking around and helped me (sort of) to build our sand castle. We also ate some nuggets and observed how other families had their barbecued lunch there.

Our sand castle (Husna and I)
When my hubby and my elder daughters came back, we had our simple lunch comprising of white rice, stir-fried vegetables and fried chickens. Fathini and Hafizah rebuilt the sand castle while I brought Husna to enjoy herself in the shallow water. We left the place by 2 p.m. after it was getting hotter.

Status lawak tapi berbisa (Bm entry)
Saya ambik ni dari FB. Memang menarik untuk dikongsikan. hehe
Sempena musim UPSR/PMR/SPM, inilah alasan top 5 kalau kantoi exam yang mak ayah confirm tak marah (inspired by memanda menteri):
5) result exam saya masih baik berbanding anak-anak jiran.
4) result exam saya tak membebankan mak/ayah.
3) kalau tak suka result saya, pergi jadi mak/ayah orang lain!
2) mak/ayah kena ubah gaya hidup.
1) result exam saya adalah ketetapan Allah!

Even the-not-so-experts can help autistic kid.
Before this I've shared about an autistic kid (mild autism) in our kindy. The parents were quite desperate and didn't know where else to send the boy while they are busy managing 2 school canteens. He is the last child in his family and the other siblings are either working or attending school. I didn't have the confidence to teach the special need child but the other teachers asked me to take up the challenge. So the rest was already history.
Now he's been with us for more than 6 months. He has started to utter some words like, "clever, good" and also sing some songs like "Happy birthday", "Rasa Sayang". Even his parents have noticed the progress and they are so excited about it.
We (the teachers) are also amazed to see his progress and hope to help him more. School environment has helped him to learn (a bit) about socialization even though he might not understand the whole concept. Seriously we are not sure how we've helped him. But one for sure, we never give him any "special" treatment. We treat him like the other kids and tell him to follow all the school rules.
Hopefully if he's going to stay in our school for another 2 years (he's 4 now), he' going to show some more improvements.

Penangan minyak naik 20 sen (BM entry)
Rasa nak berkongsi nukilan Dr Maza di sini. Memang ramai yang dah menulis pasal kenaikan harga minyak. Kebanyakan dari kita dah terasa pun tempiasnya. Tak percaya? Pergila keluar beli barang-barang keperluan dah bandingkan harga hari ini dari harga minggu lepas.
FULL VERSION BY DR MAZA
Kalian Rampas Subsidi kami, entah kemana di bawa lari
Kalian beritahu, wang mesti dicatu, kita menuju maju,
Kalian Kata: Jika tidak, semua menderita, habis harta Negara…
Kalian berbahasa:Bukan Barang Naik Harga…
Cuma sabsidi turun sahaja…….
Kami orang Desa, mungkin tidak pandai kira juta-juta….
Kami orang kecil kota, mungkin tidak sedemikian harta….
Jika kalian tipu sebegitu, biasanya kami diam selalu….
Tapi dapatkah kami dobohongi, tentang Suapan Saban Hari???
Apalah yang dapat diberitahu anak ke sekolah…..??
Papa semakin parah…wang semakin lelah??
Jika semalam berlauk, hari ini Cuma berkuah…
Kerana kerajaan kita sedang susah???
Maka Subsidi kita terpakasa diserah….
Jika semalam kau makan sepinggan, hari ini separuh..
Kerana barang makin angkuh, wang papa makin rapuh…
Janganlah nanti mereka membenci pertiwi….

Pernahkah kalian mengintipi kehidupan kami…
Pernahkah kau merasa???
Rumah bocor yang lanjut Usia
Baju dan kasut anak yang koyak,
Tinggal dalam rumah yang berasak-asak…
Siang kami sebak, malam kami sesak….
Sedangkan kalian manusia angkasa…
Istana permata dibina,kereta berjuta dirasa,
Tiada Istana lawa..tiada kereta berharga…
Tiada layanan diraja..tiada berbaju bergaya…
Tiada kediaman menteri..tiada hidangan V.I.P…
Tiada persen disana sini…tiada bahagian anak dan bini…
Tiba-tiba kalian kata : kamilah beban Negara..
Aduhai celaka bahasa yang kalian guna..
Kalian yang belasah.. kami yang bersalah..
Kalian buat untung..hutang kami tanggung..
Kalian mewah melimpah.. kami susah parah..
Kalian hilangkan wang…poket kami yang terbang…
Kalian makan Isi, kami dijadikan abdi…
